Advice for applicants
Put your most relevant cleaning experience up front on your resume, especially any sites or environments you’ve serviced, the kinds of spaces you’ve maintained, and the equipment you’ve used. Highlight specific duties that align with this role, like stocking supplies, following safety protocols, and applying correct cleaning techniques.
To prove the must-have skills, prepare short examples that show your attention to detail in a real cleaning task, how you communicated with a client or supervisor, and how you adapted when demands changed. A concise STAR story (Situation, Task, Action, Result) can illustrate these abilities clearly.
For interviews, expect questions about how you decide which cleaning technique to use in different areas, how you apply universal precautions, and how you handle the responsibilities of upkeep under time pressure. Bring a simple, concrete example of a safety procedure you followed or a time you ensured a space met health standards through careful training and practice.
Smart questions to ask include: what areas require the most attention on a day-to-day basis, how success is measured for this site, and what training or advancement opportunities exist within Aramark's cleaning and facilities teams.
