The role is on site and focuses on keeping guest rooms and public areas clean and inviting under the guidance of the housekeeping leadership. This is a good fit for someone who takes pride in delivering comfortable, well-kept spaces and wants a hands-on position within a hotel team.
The housekeeping team supports the guest experience by maintaining high cleanliness standards, replenishing supplies, and coordinating with supervisors on daily tasks. The job sits at the frontline of service, so a steady, reliable approach and a calm, courteous manner with guests are important. The role suits someone who enjoys teamwork and takes practical steps to get tasks done right the first time.
Accor operates a broad portfolio of hotels, and this posting places the focus on a practical, guest-facing housekeeping role at a Ras Al Khaimah property. The emphasis is on consistent, steady work and professional guest interactions every day.
Daily Responsibilities In The Ras Al Khaimah Accor Property
On a typical shift, the attendant works from an assignment sheet provided by the housekeeping office and notes any guest requests or supervisor instructions. They prepare the trolley with clean linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies before moving from room to room, ensuring everything needed is at hand.
They respect guest room signs, checking for Make Up and Do Not Disturb markers, and they greet guests in a friendly, professional way as they enter or exit rooms. The routine includes thorough bathroom cleaning, checking walls and tubs, restocking towels and amenities, and reporting any maintenance concerns they encounter.
Throughout the day they replenish and tidy the space, such as refreshing beds, restoring stationeries and minibar items, and replacing flowers when needed. They also monitor the end of the shift by tidying the service area, confirming equipment is in good condition, and passing along essential information to the next shift to keep operations smooth.

Advice For Applicants
Put your housekeeping experience up front on your resume, especially anything that shows 1–2 years in a hotel or hospitality environment and any exposure to higher-tier properties. Highlight concrete examples of rooms you’ve cleaned to standard and times you followed SOPs or safety rules during guest-facing tasks.
Show how you prove you can follow instructions and safety guidelines. Include a short note about a time you followed a specific procedure, handled guest requests, or cleaned a space while maintaining safety measures, so the hiring team can see your practical approach to day-to-day tasks.
Be ready to discuss guest interactions in interviews. Talk about how you acknowledge guests promptly, greet them warmly, and maintain professional communication while performing duties. Share examples of working in a team to coordinate tasks and how you handle feedback from supervisors.
Ask a targeted question about the shift structure and daily coordination. A good query could be about how crews are assigned to sections, how end-of-day handoffs are managed, or how performance is measured against cleanliness standards. This shows you’re thinking about how you’d fit into the team and keep guest rooms consistently ready for arrivals.
