The Opportunity

ContainerCo has an opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our People and Sustainability team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave.

Reporting to the GM People & Sustainability, this role provides operational HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employment relations, HR administration and core people processes.

You will provide advice and support to managers across the business on a range of people matters, including recruitment, performance management, policy interpretation and employment relations. You will also prepare employment documentation, maintain employment records, reporting and support HR projects and initiatives as required.

This role is suited to an experienced HR Advisor who can quickly build relationships, work independently and confidently manage a varied workload from day one.

What you'll Bring

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor role.
  • Sound understanding of New Zealand employment legislation.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, performance management and employment relations processes.
  • Strong written communication skills, including drafting employment documentation and correspondence.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with managers at all levels.
  • Well-developed Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience using Employment Hero is preferably.
