We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) who will act as a people-centric HR professional thriving on making a real difference in the day-to-day experience of leaders and employees at a global technology company. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) your key area of responsibility will be ensuring that people practices — from employee engagement to talent development — are executed effectively and aligned with Geotab's priorities. You will need to work closely with fellow HRBPs, People Operations Specialists, Centres of Excellence, and leaders within your assigned business groups. To be successful in this role you will be a collaborative team player with a human-led approach, curiosity, and a genuine desire to understand the person behind the role, holding a proven ability to build authentic, supportive relationships at all levels of the organization. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong business acumen to connect business objectives to people strategies, and the ability to manage employee relations matters with objectivity, empathy, and diplomacy.
Human-Led Change Management: Support leaders and employees through organizational change. Whether it is a restructure, a new program launch, or a shift in team dynamics, you help ensure transitions are introduced with clarity, empathy, and care.
Trusted Partnership: Build strong relationships with leaders and employees across your business groups. You will serve as a go-to advisor on people matters — coaching managers, facilitating difficult conversations, and ensuring business goals are supported through effective people practices.
AI & Data Insights: Use modern HR technology and AI tools to support your work. You will leverage data and metrics to identify trends, surface insights for your leaders, and continuously improve how you deliver HR support.
Employee Relations & Performance Support: Provide hands-on support for performance management, employee relations, and workplace investigations within your business groups. You will stay current on relevant employment legislation and ensure compliance while keeping the human factor at the forefront.
Talent & Career Growth: Partner with leaders on talent reviews, succession planning, and career development conversations. You will help identify high-potential employees and support retention efforts by ensuring people see a clear path for growth at Geotab.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with fellow HRBPs, People Operations Specialists, and Centres of Excellence to share knowledge, align on best practices, and continuously improve how we serve the business.

An understanding of how business objectives connect to people strategies, with the ability to manage employee relations matters with objectivity, empathy, and a focus on the human factor.
A proven ability to build trust, navigate conflict with diplomacy, and establish yourself as a credible partner to leaders and employees alike.
