Oral Health Victoria is recruiting a Graduate – People Advisory for a full‑time fixed‑term 12 month contract onsite in Carlton. The package is $66,997.32 per year plus 12% super and up to $9,010 salary packaging, with five weeks’ annual leave, a monthly ADO and flexible work from home options, with a start date of 2 March 2026 or earlier. You will gain hands on HR experience across the employee lifecycle, including inbox management, processing change requests, delivering generalist advice, generating data extracts and contributing to projects, all under mentorship. Role overview: 

Are you ready to launch your career in Human Resources? We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate – People Advisory who is passionate about people, eager to learn, and excited to build a long‑term HR career.

This is the perfect opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain hands‑on experience across the employee lifecycle while being supported through training, coaching and mentorship. Join a collaborative People & Culture team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, customer‑focused HR services across the organisation.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Provide accurate and timely HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage the HR/People Assist Inbox, including assigning tasks and cases to People Advisory Partners in line with Portfolio areas
  • Process the Employee Change Requests submitted by leaders and partner with the Payroll Team in ensuring that these are actioned within the relevant system/s.
  • Provide Generalist HR advice to frontline managers including first-level support for employee and manager HR enquires, escalating complex matters to People Advisory Partners as required
  • Prepare monthly data extract for People Scorecard and other relevant scorecards as required
  • Involvement in HR project work as required.

 About you: 

  • A genuine passion for Human Resources and people-focused work
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of HR practices, employment legislation or industrial relations frameworks (desirable, not required)
  • Completion or near completion of a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or a related discipline

Admin or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential — we value attitude, eagerness to learn and commitment to developing HR capability.
