HR Manager
SD WorxSD Worx Staffing & Career Solutions Nederland is looking for an HR Manager to take HR to the next level in a growing Dutch organization. The role is based in Weert and work is onsite, with a full-time allocation. It suits someone who loves turning HR strategy into practical action and who wants to shape how people and the business grow together.
As the central HR anchor for the Netherlands division, the HR Manager will establish a stable, professional HR foundation and actively contribute to developing people, teams and the organization. The role covers the full cycle from recruitment through to respectful contract completion, ensuring processes, systems and policies are clear and workable so leaders can coach their teams effectively.
The right person will be visible and approachable, understanding what happens on the work floor while balancing the company’s goals. They’ll provide clear, pragmatic guidance to managers, the management team and the board, helping HR stay practical and impactful. They’ll lead the HR team (HR BP, HR officer, Corporate Recruiter) with clear priorities and a sound distribution of responsibilities, driving the HR service to the next level.
Leading HR in a growing Dutch operation
The HR Manager will connect people and the organization, keeping both helpful needs and business objectives in view. You’ll shape development and responsible employment practices across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a coherent approach that aligns with company goals.
You’ll professionalize the HR toolkit and keep it fit for the future, working on clear processes for onboarding, internal mobility and offboarding, a well-defined performance and feedback cycle, and effective handling of absence, vitality and employability. You’ll establish transparent pay and appraisal guidelines, clarify roles to support leaders, and ensure compliance with employment law. You’ll bring order and consistency to HR processes and make sure employees, managers and the board know what to expect from HR.
Alongside policy development, you’ll translate organizational aims into executable HR actions and contribute to a culture that prizes accountability, constructive feedback and collaboration. You’ll use HR data, dashboards and KPIs to spot trends and shape priorities, while always looking for smarter, simpler ways to operate through digitalization and process optimization.
A strong framework for a people-focused business
Must-have requirements include at least five years of experience in HR management or HR business partnering within a commercial setting, plus a track record of refining HR processes and instruments. The role expects someone who thrives in an independent, high-visibility position with real responsibility, balancing a human-focused approach with sharp business judgment. A calm, structured style that avoids bureaucracy, paired with a readiness to roll up sleeves and drive actions, will help you fit well here. The candidate should be adept at partnering with executives, management, leaders and staff, and comfortable addressing difficult topics with tact and decisiveness.

Advice for applicants
Put your five-plus years of HR leadership in a commercial setting upfront on your resume so the hiring team sees you meet the core requirement right away.
When you describe your impact, focus on concrete HR improvements you led, think end-to-end processes for onboarding, progression, exit, and a clear performance and feedback cycle, plus any work you’ve done to tackle absence, vitality and employability.
Be ready to share a specific example of how you’ve partnered with directors and managers and how you addressed a tough people issue with tact and decisiveness. Tie that example to how you supported business objectives and maintained trust.
Think of one smart question to ask that shows you’re thinking about how HR will operate in their setup, for example: how HR data and dashboards are used to drive priorities and what the biggest current HR transformation priorities are. Prepare a question about the team you’d lead and how HR collaborates with the MT and directie to deliver results.
