About The Role
This role is a 6-month maternity leave contract.
As a member of a small onsite HR team your role is to support the Site HR Manager with a variety of people and safety initiatives at the manufacturing site located at Dudley Park, Adelaide.
What You’ll Do
Support key business and people initiatives whilst providing front line support to the operational stakeholders and being a key contact for the provision of Human Resources Advice.
Provide a variety of reports and statistical information for the management team, corporate and regional head offices as required.
Administration of HR databases and organization web based programs.
System Data - entering, updating and rectifying systems with updated employee information
Reports (various weekly reports and end of month reports) e.g. Headcount, Worked hours, Leave Balances, Absenteeism
Setting up new workers, change of T&C and termination processing
Purchase order and vendor management
Training and development - assisting with coordinating WHS training
Organise site events, catering and maintain some contractors onsite
Performance management and disciplinary processes
Not being desk bound, a key to the success of your role is being out on the ‘shop floor’ and working with our production supervisors, team leaders and other key operational staff.
Who You Are
Degree Qualification in Human Resources
3-5 years' experience in fast paced generalist HR role/s
Experience with people systems, data management and reporting
Understanding of, or worked with Blue collar workforce or Manufacturing environment highly regarded
Experience using Workday and SAP preferred
Experience in interpreting legislation, policies, procedures and enterprise agreements
Experience in disciplinary processes, performance management and handling confidential employee matters
Union exposure (desirable)
You must have full unrestricted working rights in Australia
