You’ll keep HSE databases, registers and trackers up to date, ensuring proper record keeping and document control in line with project and client requirements. You’ll also track incident investigations through to closure and support audits, inspections and management reviews.
Coordination with project HSE teams, engineering, construction, operations and contractors is a core part of the role, ensuring timely submission of HSE information and helping prepare HSE plans, procedures, risk assessments and awareness materials.
Finally you’ll help management spot performance gaps and shape practical improvement actions.

Tips for applicants
Lead your resume with the engineering diploma and the 10+ years of oil and gas or petrochemical experience, calling out the five years you’ve spent in the GCC and, if applicable, eight years for UAE Nationals.
Back up the must-have bullets with concrete examples of HSE data reporting, dashboards and trend analyses you’ve built, including how you monitored KPIs like incidents, near misses and training and how you closed corrective actions.
Prepare to discuss cross-functional collaboration with project teams, how you aligned HSE data with engineering, construction and operations to drive improvement and how you supported audits or management reviews.
Ask a smart question about the actual HSE KPIs used on Abu Dhabi projects, the data systems in place for management reporting, and how the team partners with ADNOC or the client to meet regulatory requirements.
