UnitingCare Queensland seeks an HR Business Partner for a full time onsite role to partner with senior leaders, shape workforce strategy and drive people solutions. You will build relationships, coach managers, lead culture and engagement initiatives, design strategic workforce plans, navigate ER IR matters, and drive People Cycle activities while collaborating with HR Centres of Excellence on solutions and change programs. In this full‑time, permanent role, you’ll partner with senior leaders across Corporate Services to shape workforce strategy, strengthen engagement, and deliver people solutions that make a real impact. Key Responsibilities  

  • Build strong, influential relationships with managers and leaders, providing expert coaching, guidance, and workforce advice.

  • Lead cultural change and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen connection and performance across Corporate & Hospitals teams.

  • Design, develop, and support strategic workforce plans, talent strategies, and forward‑looking resourcing solutions.

  • Collaborate with Employee Relations to navigate industrial instruments, employment legislation, and complex ER matters.

  • Drive core People Cycle activities including performance, capability development, succession, and remuneration processes.

  • Work with Centres of Excellence to deliver integrated, fit‑for‑purpose HR solutions that meet business needs.

  • Lead and support organisational change programs including restructures, redesigns, and communications to ensure positive workforce outcomes.

 

What you will bring: 

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field, supported by extensive experience delivering strategic and operational HR partnering.

  • A strong background in leading HR initiatives that enhance workforce capability and deliver measurable improvements.

  • Solid ER/IR knowledge and experience managing or supporting complex workplace matters.

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and build trust at all levels.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to analyse workforce data, solve problems, and shape people‑focused solutions.

  • A collaborative, curious, and proactive approach, with a genuine commitment to our mission and values.
