Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of HR, APAC the Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor, culture carrier, and change agent to further enhance business performance by aligning HR with business strategy. In this role, you will contribute both hands-on and strategically while working collaboratively with leaders across the firm to drive strategic people priorities and solutions that accelerate the achievement of business objectives through talent management, diversity and inclusion, rewards and recognition and organizational effectiveness.

This is a fixed term contract until the end of January.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to provide operational and strategic HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
  • Build strong business relationships with internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) to improve employee experience and increase employee productivity and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, modern awards and company policies.
  • Partner with leaders to promote a psychologically safe and healthy workplace aligned with WHS obligations.
  • Support the identification, assessment and management of psychosocial hazards and risks
  • Facilitate and support the business through annual HR initiatives including talent and performance, compensation, talent planning, and change management programs.

Desirable Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Asset Management or Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • In depth specialist, with technical knowledge across multiple HR functions such as reward, employee relations, analytics, talent management, org design and development.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing employee relations matters and providing coaching to leaders.
  • Aptitude to operate at a senior level and with a global mindset.
  • Demonstrated strong internal stakeholder management, both with senior management, individual contributors and internal support functions.
  • Superior communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
