Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, part of IHG, is looking for an HR Manager to join the team on site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The property sits in Dubai Science Park and features 240 hotel rooms and suites plus 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchored by F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm meeting and events facility. This is a hands-on HR leadership role in a guest-focused brand that values care, collaboration and honest conversations about people and performance.

The right person will be drawn to culture as a driver of service, and they’ll bring a clear vision for an enabling environment that helps the team shine and creates memorable stays for guests. If you enjoy guiding managers, shaping onboarding experiences, and building programmes that energise staff, you could thrive here. This role sits within a global employer, yet the everyday work happens in this Dubai property and its local community.

The job is full-time and onsite, with a chance to shape HR practice in a high-profile Holiday Inn & Suites property within the IHG family.

Your daily impact in action

In this leadership position, you’ll help cultivate a positive, inclusive culture by designing people programmes that bring out the best in every team member and by partnering with managers to translate those ideas into real improvements for guest service. You’ll lead onboarding for new hires, keep a close eye on engagement data, and drive actions that lift Team Member Satisfaction. You’ll also coach managers on HR policies and procedures to lift productivity and performance, while developing creative initiatives that keep staff motivated to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

On the administrative side, you’ll maintain accurate personnel files and ensure compliance with hotel policies and applicable employment laws. Building strong relationships with external partners and community contacts will help the hotel stay connected locally, while you help shape the department’s budget and monitor expenses to keep costs in line with business needs. You’ll keep staffing levels aligned with operational demands and promote the hotel within the local community. You’ll handle employee relations matters with care, investigate workplace issues when needed, and escalate serious concerns appropriately. You’ll analyse exit interviews, turnover and other HR data to spot trends and identify training or development opportunities, while supporting recruitment and other HR initiatives as required. You’ll also perform ad hoc duties to support the hotel and broader business operations.

What you’ll need to bring to the role

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in hospitality or hotel HR, including direct supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and local HR practices
  • Fluent in English
  • Additional languages are an advantage

Pay, perks and practicals

The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package. It’s a full-time, onsite position in the United Arab Emirates, based at the Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park. The hotel itself comprises 240 rooms and suites plus 84 one-bedroom apartments, with anchor F&B offerings and a substantial 1026sqm meetings and events facility.

Tips for applicants for this role

Lead your resume with a concise summary that foregrounds your hospitality HR leadership, your direct supervisory experience, and your knowledge of UAE Labour Law, so the hiring team can see your fit at a glance.

When you describe your experience, give concrete examples of programmes you’ve created or led, onboarding experiences, engagement surveys and action plans, and any budgeting duties you’ve handled. Tie those examples to outcomes for staff and for guest service, so they can picture your impact in this hotel setting.

Be ready to talk through how you handle workplace issues and investigations, and how you’ve ensured compliance with local laws in previous roles. A scenario about resolving a workplace concern or reducing turnover through targeted training can help illustrate your approach.

Ask a targeted question during the interview about how the hotel measures the success of HR initiatives, how engagement and guest experience are linked in their planning, and how the team collaborates with external partners and community contacts to strengthen the brand locally.
