Advice for applicants

Show in your resume how you’ve helped participants with disability prepare for and secure employment, including any work building partnerships with employers who value inclusion.

Demonstrate you can meet the must-haves by including evidence of eligibility to work in Australia, a valid driver’s licence with an insured vehicle, your MyGovID, and readiness to complete a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.

Be ready to discuss a concrete example of using creative problem solving to overcome barriers and get a placement over the line, as well as a time you built a lasting connection with an employer.

When you’re interviewing, ask how the Caulfield site collaborates with local employers to drive inclusive hiring and what metrics define a successful placement, plus what opportunities exist for ongoing professional development.
