The Director – Information Technology leads the streamlined operation of the five U.S. IT functions: Applications, Infrastructure, Client Services, Data Analytics / AI, and IT Governance & Cybersecurity. The role ensures these areas align with regional and corporate business objectives and collaborates with Corporate IT to develop and manage the IT product and service portfolios delivered across the USA. A key responsibility is achieving agreed IT service levels for all services provided.
As the Head of IT for WACKER USA within the global WACKER IT organization, the Director ensures corporate IT strategy is communicated, implemented, and reflected in all regional activities.
The Director plans, coordinates, and directs all operational aspects of regional IT, providing leadership for solutions that support mission‑critical business operations. Close collaboration with business leaders is essential to identify, recommend, and deliver cost‑effective technology solutions aligned with corporate standards.
Operating in a matrix environment, the Director must maintain clear and effective communication between regional teams and Corporate IT. Building consensus is essential for the success of both corporate and regional IT strategies, policies, and processes.
