An Innovation Development Engineer is needed at OceanaGold in Macraes, Otago, to join the Metallurgical team and boost plant performance through digital information, live mass balances, PI System and Asset Intellect, MATLAB analytics and automation. You’ll need a degree in Metallurgy, Chemical or Process Engineering and 2–5 years in mineral processing, with a driver licence and manual driving ability preferred. This is a 5/2, 4/3 roster based residential role, with a competitive salary, bonus, health cover, wellbeing allowance and study assistance. Our Macraes-based Metallurgical team have an exciting opportunity for an Innovation Development Engineer to join the team. Working as an integral part of the Metallurgical team, this role will focus on focus on digital information, providing technical expertise, guidance and reasoning to the operations and maintenance teams with the objective to optimise the process plant performance through the implementation of innovation.
