About the Role

In this position, you will assist with planning and conducting IVA auditing activities, commercial and phytosanitary inspections, surveying, and GlobalGAP for our Agricultural Commodities business.

You’ll be based in Napier, primarily servicing the Hawke’s Bay area, with occasional travel to other regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct inspection, verification, and auditing activities effectively and on time.
  • Ensure all administration and reporting is clear, concise, and accurate.
  • Participate in training programmes and assessments.
  • Comply with reporting functions specific to the role.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain and grow our commercial and statutory services.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in agricultural inspections or a Level 4 National Certificate in horticulture
  • Management Systems Lead Auditor qualifications would be beneficial
  • Relevant food safety, internal auditing, and HACCP qualifications.
  • Ability to interpret and apply quality assurance procedures accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in report writing and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic database management).
  • Current and unrestricted NZ driver’s license.
