Job Summary

Al Marwan Group is looking for an experienced Inspection Engineer to conduct detailed inspections, diagnostics, and technical assessments of heavy machinery and equipment in our projects and workshops. The role ensures that all equipment meets operational, safety, and quality standards. The Inspection Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, and maintenance staff to identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and maintain compliance with project specifications and OEM standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, graders, and trucks

  • Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and recommend corrective actions

  • Perform root cause analysis for repeated failures and ensure compliance with safety regulations

  • Carry out functional tests before and after repairs, ensuring adherence to OEM standards

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide technical guidance to maintenance teams

  • Support the development of maintenance schedules and evaluate spare parts quality

  • Collaborate with HSE team to maintain safe workshop practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment inspection

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and understanding of OEM specifications
