Job Description
A leading government healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking qualified and experienced Intensive Care Specialists and Consultants to join its critical care team. The successful candidates will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Provide comprehensive management of complex and life-threatening conditions.
- Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and organ support.
- Perform critical care procedures according to training and experience.
- Respond to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation activities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and teaching activities.
Requirements
- MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
- MD/MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
- Relevant post-specialization experience according to the position level.
- Strong ICU experience and expertise in managing critically ill patients.
- Experience with mechanical ventilation, invasive monitoring, sepsis management, and organ support.
- Excellent clinical judgment and emergency management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates with UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board qualifications are highly encouraged to apply
