A leading government healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking qualified and experienced Pain Medicine Specialists and Consultants to join its multidisciplinary team. The successful candidates will provide comprehensive assessment and management of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based pain management plans.
- Perform appropriate interventional pain procedures based on training and experience.
- Manage complex neuropathic, musculoskeletal, cancer-related, and postoperative pain.
- Collaborate with anaesthesia, surgery, rehabilitation, neurology, and other specialties.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust management plans accordingly.
- Provide patient education regarding pain management and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
- MD/MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Pain Medicine, Anaesthesiology, or a relevant specialty.
- Relevant post-specialization experience according to the position level.
- Strong clinical experience in acute and chronic pain management.
- Experience in interventional pain management procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient-management skills.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
