We're seeking a dynamic Intermediate or Senior level Consents Planner to join our Consenting Services team.

As our Intermediate / Senior Consents Planner, you'll provide leadership and mentoring support to the planning consents team, while delivering high-quality, customer-responsive technical planning and resource management advice. You'll contribute to integrated planning solutions, manage risk exposure, and support RMA-related statutory processes, including monitoring of consent conditions, hearings and Environment Court proceedings. This is your chance to really shape the future!

The ideal candidate has a relevant tertiary qualification in Resource Planning or a similar field, with at least 4-6 years’ experience, 1-2 years' of that experience at a senior level (or the capability to transition to a senior role). You should have experience in statutory hearings and NZPI membership (or eligibility). A strong understanding of relevant legislation, excellent communication skills, and commitment to integrated outcomes are essential. Making Good Decisions Certification is desirable.
