Summary

Job Duties

  • Trains in all basic aspects of lab bench work and maintaining database.
  • Understands workings of a laboratory.
  • Learns the role of biomarkers in disease and learns importance of biorepositoriesase and maintenance of biorepositories.
  • Performs pipeting, makes buffers, aliquoting, works on storing the samples.
  • Maintains database and performs literature search.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in biological science or chemical field.
  • Has knowledge of pipetting.
