adidas is looking for an Intern Supply Chain Projects to join its Global Supply Chain Management HQ near Lucerne. The team there includes about 150 colleagues working across key functions like Global Product Supply, Logistics and Distribution, Customs and SCM Strategy, all within a dynamic international setting. The six‑month internship sits in the Strategy & Digital Solutions group, which turns strategy into action by delivering cross‑functional projects for markets and functions around the world. This role is a good fit for students who want to gain hands‑on experience in global supply chain work and contribute from day one.

The role offers a flexible, hybrid setup with the option to work up to 40% from home. It is based at adidas International Trading AG in Root D4, close to Lucerne, and runs from March 01, 2027 to August 31, 2027, full‑time. adidas emphasises a workplace culture built on collaboration, courage and curiosity, set in an international environment that blends sport, innovation and personal growth.

It’s a strong match for you if you like solving problems, are quick to learn, and enjoy exploring new topics. If you want to build your project coordination skills, create impactful presentations, and gain exposure to global supply chain work through a structured six‑month program, this internship could be a great stepping stone.

Daily rhythm in the Strategy & Digital Solutions hub

Your days will see you backing project managers with routine tasks and helping coordinate projects from start to finish. You’ll help turn ideas into tangible outputs by crafting presentations and deliverables, drawing on approved AI tools to research, draft, summarise, and build simple tools while keeping outputs accurate. You’ll also keep project timelines on track and follow up on open items so momentum doesn’t slow down a single initiative.

The fit adidas is seeking

What adidas is looking for shows up as a mix of hands‑on capability and the right mindset. You should have some exposure to basic project management and be able to convey updates and information clearly. Curiosity and a strong drive to learn new topics are important, as is comfort working with MS Office and hands‑on experience with generative AI tools, gained through studies or personal projects, along with the ability to write clear prompts, critically review outputs, and handle information responsibly. You should be comfortable working independently as well as in a team, and you need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

To apply you’ll need to show you can juggle tasks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and stay organized across multiple workstreams. A track record of balancing study commitments with practical projects will help illustrate your fit for a hands‑on, collaborative environment at adidas.

Compensation and practical setup

The internship pays a monthly gross salary of CHF 3.000,00. It runs March 01, 2027 through August 31, 2027, full‑time at 40 hours per week. The location is adidas International Trading AG in Root D4 (close to Lucerne). adidas offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with up to 40% home office possible. The company shows a preference for candidates already based in Switzerland due to visa limitations, and applicants must be willing to relocate to the Lucerne area at their own expense for the full duration of the internship. The six‑month program provides an international context and opportunities to connect with colleagues across markets and functions, with a clear path to apply the skills learned in a real business setting.

Advice for applicants

Put your most relevant project coordination experience up front on your resume, especially anything that shows end‑to‑end involvement and your ability to keep timelines moving.

Show how you use MS Office along with any generative AI tools you’ve worked with. Include concrete examples of prompts you’ve written, how you checked outputs for accuracy, and how you handled sensitive information responsibly.

Be prepared to talk about how you work both independently and with a team, and share a quick story from a study or project where you learned something new fast and applied it to deliver results.

Ask a thoughtful question about the Strategy & Digital Solutions team, such as how interns contribute to end‑to‑end projects and what types of projects have had the most impact in the last cycle.
