You will continue and digitalize the Energy and Water Benchmarking model, support the developer as the Business Owner for the digitalization of the benchmarking model, and collaborate with Brewing, Packaging and Engineering to define the future state while tightening documentation and developing next versions. They seek a bachelor’s or master’s in chemical engineering, biotechnology, environmental engineering or similar, with a real passion for sustainability and strong skills in energy and mass balance, modeling tools, Excel/Power BI and statistics. Benefits include €650 gross per month, two vacation days per month, and commuting reimbursement if you lack a student OV. The internship
HEINEKEN committed to becoming net zero carbon by 2030 (scope 1&2) and to reduce its water usage significantly. To reach our goals, we use detailed benchmarking for utilities (Energy & Water) usage and aim to enhance this further. During this internship, you will be working on improving the understanding of the current benchmarking tools and start the process of simplifying/improving the benchmarking models available.

The department
The Sustainable Production department (part of Global Production, Supply Chain) consists of a multidisciplinary team, working on different subjects of sustainability of our operations such as water and energy usage, decarbonization, wastewater management and reporting. The team is made up of professionals from different countries, expertise and academic background with all one goal to make our operations more sustainable
