INTERNSHIP: FINANCE
GisouGisou, the beauty brand with a six-generation beekeeping heritage, creates iconic products from ingredients sustainably sourced from its own Mirsalehi Bee Garden. The company is growing quickly and is looking for a Finance Intern to join the Amsterdam team onsite. The role is designed for someone studying finance, accounting, or business administration who wants hands-on exposure to financial data management, systems, and process improvements within a fast-moving brand.
Working closely with the VP of Finance, you’ll help keep financial information accurate, support ongoing projects, and contribute to daily operations that keep the business running smoothly. Gisou’s Honey Glow mission sits at the heart of a collaborative, international culture that values practical impact and clear, action-oriented work.
The internship is a full-time, onsite position in Amsterdam with one day of remote work per week. The program runs for six months, from Mon 1st Feb 2027 - Wed 4th Aug 2027, and requires five days per week, with four days on-site in the Amsterdam office and one day remote.
A day-to-day rhythm in Gisou’s finance team
In this role you’ll keep the finance databases up to date and pull data weekly to refresh key files and reports, ensuring the information remains accurate and complete. You’ll also perform checks to verify that updates and reporting tasks have been completed correctly, helping the team maintain trust in the numbers. Monitoring product pricing on Sephora and other retail platforms will be part of your radar to ensure consistency across channels. You’ll participate in finance and cross-functional meetings, capture clear action points, and make sure follow-up happens. Circulating information and updates across the finance team will keep everyone aligned, and you’ll lend a hand on projects that involve system implementations and process improvements as they arise.

Advice for applicants
Tip 1: Lead your resume with your current or upcoming degree and your target as a Finance Intern, then confirm you’re available for the six-month, full-time onsite programme from Mon 1st Feb 2027 to Wed 4th Aug 2027, with four days on-site in Amsterdam and one remote day.
Tip 2: Show you can prove the must-have skills. If you’ve updated databases, pulled weekly data, or built reports in Excel, give a concrete example with numbers and outcomes, and mention any experience circulating updates to a finance team.
Tip 3: Prepare for interviews by tying your experiences to the duties listed, such as attending meetings, capturing action points, and supporting system implementations or process improvements. Be ready to describe how you’ve collaborated with others to finish tasks on time.
Tip 4: Think of a smart question to ask that’s specific to this role, such as how the team uses data from price monitoring on Sephora and other platforms to influence financial planning, or what the current system implementation project aims to achieve in the next quarter.
