The Opportunity:
Our Customer Operations team plays a critical role in delivering reliable, high-quality outcomes for Netwealth advisers and clients. Within Customer Operations, the Adjustments Team is responsible for some of the most complex and technical activities across our Payments function.
This is not a traditional administration role. We're looking for people who enjoy investigating issues, resolving exceptions, reconciling complex transactions, and working through scenarios that require analytical thinking and sound judgement.
You'll work across activities including contribution adjustments, recontribution strategies, asset transfers, reconciliation activities, and exception-based processing. Every day presents a different challenge, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys getting to the root cause of issues and finding the best outcome.
Working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, you'll build deep expertise across investment, superannuation and payments processes while contributing to exceptional outcomes for advisers and clients.
This role also offers strong career development opportunities. As your expertise grows, you'll have opportunities to expand your knowledge across broader Customer Operations functions, opening pathways into technical specialist, project and broader business roles.
In this role, you will:
Process and investigate complex investment, superannuation and payments transactions
Manage reconciliation activities, exceptions and adjustment-related casework
Analyse issues, identify root causes and determine appropriate resolutions
Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining strong quality standards
Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex operational matters
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Build deep product, process and technical expertise across Customer Operations
You're naturally curious, analytical and enjoy solving problems.
You don't just process tasks. You like understanding how things work, identifying discrepancies, and working through complex scenarios to reach the right outcome. You're comfortable spending time investigating issues, reconciling data, and making informed decisions based on the information available.
You thrive in environments where accuracy matters and enjoy work that requires both attention to detail and critical thinking.
You'll bring:
Experience in reconciliation, payments, operations, adjustments or administration within financial services
Exposure to superannuation, investments, payments, banking or another regulated environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience investigating exceptions, discrepancies or complex casework
High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence making decisions and working through complex scenarios
A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
This role will particularly suit someone who has worked in a complex reconciliation environment and is looking to deepen their technical expertise while taking on more challenging, analytical work.
