Blinq is seeking a hands-on IT Support Engineer to join our Melbourne team onsite on a full-time basis. You’ll deliver L2/L3 support across macOS, Windows, Google Workspace, networking, VPNs and core business systems, design automation in Bash or JavaScript, own device lifecycle management, manage access control, and keep our knowledge base fresh while supporting hybrid office setups in Melbourne and Sydney. Ideal candidates have up to 5 years in IT or internal infra, strong macOS and networking skills, experience with Google Workspace, and a curiosity to code in at least one language. Bonus points for AWS, Azure or GCP, UniFi, Kandji, or TypeScript. What You’ll Do

• Deliver advanced L2/L3 support across macOS, Windows, Google Workspace, networking, VPNs, and core business systems
• Design and implement automation using Bash, or JavaScript to eliminate repetitive manual work
• Own device lifecycle management including onboarding, refresh, provisioning, and MDM administration
• Managing permissions and access control across the organisation. 
• Maintain and evolve our knowledge base with clear, actionable documentation that scales with us
• Support and improve office AV, networking, and hybrid collaboration setups across Melbourne and Sydney

What You’ll Bring

• Up to 5 years experience in either IT support, systems, or internal infrastructure roles with strong macOS expertise
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Experience with Google Workspace and UniFiComfortable writing code in at least one language, and interested to learn new languages as needed. Curiosity to go deeper is a must
• Clear communication and problem solving. You can support payroll one minute and execs the next without missing a beat
• A pragmatic, ownership mindset. You make decisions, prioritize effectively, and constantly look for smarter ways to scale

Bonus points if you’ve worked with AWS, Azure, or GCP, UniFi, managed MDM platforms like Kandji, used Google Workspace, written automation in TypeScript, or managed changes via GitHub.
