WSP Australia is seeking an ITS Technician or Senior ITS Technician to join our Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast offices on a full time onsite basis. You will prepare, manage and issue drawings for major infrastructure projects in Queensland and nationally, creating electrical, communication and civil designs to state and Australian Standards, applying drafting standards to ensure accuracy and consistency, and liaising with technicians, designers and project engineers to ensure timely delivery. You’ll plan and manage your own work, champion quality assurance and design verification, and pursue improvements through new tools and best practices using AutoCAD, PowerCAD, 12D, AGI32, Perfect Lite and more. Requirements: at least 2 years’ ITS, signals or lighting experience, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering, ability to compile complex drawings, and proficiency in AutoCAD, AGI32 and PowerCAD; familiarity with Australian Road Authority standards is desirable.
