HE Space in partnership with CS Group is looking for a Junior AIT Engineer to join an onsite, full time role in Immenstaad am Bodensee, Germany. You’ll contribute to functional tests in satellite AIT programs, assist in writing and reviewing test specifications and procedures, support electrical integration, prepare and evaluate test data, document results, and help operate the satellite or instrument while contributing to configuration analysis and NCR investigations. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 1-2 years in functional satellite AIT, familiarity with TM/TC (PUS) and ECSS standards, Unix/Linux skills, and fluent English plus business German are preferred. Job Description

As part of the AIT team, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Development and execution of functional tests in AIT satellite programmes;
• Support in the review and creation of the test specification;
• Support in the definition, creation, development and implementation of test procedures test procedures;
• Support of electrical integration activities;
• Preparation, evaluation of test data and assessment for the customer;
• Documentation of test results and writing of test reports;
• Supporting the operation of the satellite / instrument;
• Support in analysing the satellite configuration and its documentation;
• Support with error analysis (NCR investigation).

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable;
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of functional satellite AIT is required;
• Knowledge of TM/TC (PUS) of satellites / instruments is an advantage;
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems should be available;
• Fluency in English is mandatory and at least business fluent of German language.
