VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Junior Paralegal Part Time 50% (6 months) to join our Legal team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!

The Junior Paralegal provides operational support to the EMEA Legal team, enabling lawyers to focus on high-value legal work. The role is the primary owner of contract execution workflows—managing a high volume of approximately 70–90 contracts per week end-to-end via Docusign—and is responsible for budget administration, including all purchase orders raised on Coupa for external law firm engagements. The role also maintains the team's document management infrastructure, supports legal research and entity management activities, and acts as the key interface between the Legal department and internal business partners across the EMEA region.

How You Will Make A Difference

Primary Responsibilities:

Contract Execution Management

  • Own the end-to-end contract execution workflow via Docusign, handling approximately 70–90 contracts per week with accuracy and within agreed turnaround times.
  • Prepare contracts for electronic signature: review routing logic, assign signing order, set expiry dates, and trigger execution cycles.
  • Monitor signature status, chase outstanding signatories, resolve routing issues, and escalate blockers to the responsible lawyer in a timely manner.
  • Archive fully executed agreements in the designated document management system (SharePoint / contract repository), ensuring consistent naming conventions and metadata tagging.
  • Coordinate wet-ink signature processes and notarisation / legalisation of documents where electronic execution is not accepted.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Docusign workflow, including template creation and process documentation.

Legal Budget & Purchase Order Management

  • Serve as the Legal department's primary Coupa user for all external law firm engagements: raise purchase orders, manage PO amendments, and track spending against approved budgets.
  • Liaise with Finance and external law firms to ensure timely and accurate invoice submission, coding, and approval in line with company policy.
  • Maintain a spend tracker for external legal fees; provide regular budget status reports to the General Counsel and relevant budget owners.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new external law firms in procurement systems (vendor set-up, supplier forms, data privacy agreements as required).
  • Support the annual legal budget planning cycle by consolidating historical spend data and preparing budget templates.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Work experience as an assistant or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Docusign (or equivalent eSignature platform) is required; experience with Coupa or another P2P / procurement system is highly desirable.
  • Well organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to act without close guidance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Italian.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
