Flora Food Group is hiring a Junior Product Scientist, Fermentation to develop and characterize fermented foods with a focus on flavor development during cheese maturation, culture performance, and analytical work across plant-based matrices. You’ll screen microbial cultures, characterize proteolysis and lipolysis, run fermentation and maturation studies, and analyze aromatic and non-volatile compounds using GC and LC, including sample prep and data interpretation with DOE and multivariate tools. This onsite role in Wageningen, Netherlands, requires an MSc in a related field, a strong grounding in aroma chemistry, experience with chromatographic methods, and a hands-on, cross-functional mindset for lab and pilot environments.
