Ballarat Care Home in Rangiora is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in delivering nutritious meals for residents. The role offers about 9 hours per week, 4pm to 8pm shifts, with a 2 days on, 4 days off pattern across a 6-week roster. Key duties include dishwashing, general kitchen tasks, assisting with food prep, and upholding hygiene, safety and confidentiality. Ideal candidates have a year of similar experience, though training is provided, and you should be a reliable team player who can work independently, show empathy and a real passion for residents.
