Job Description

This is an entry level position with an opportunity to be part of something bigger. As a Kitchen Hand in our Stewarding team, you will work as part of a team to keep the hotel kitchens and washing up areas clean and tidy.

This role presents an opportunity to start your career with a global company and to grow and learn with us. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, have attention to detail, and be passionate about giving guests an exceptional experience.

What you'll be doing:

• Work with a team to clean kitchen utensils, cookware and dishes from our conferencing, events, restaurant and kitchen operations
• Operate industrial kitchen cleaning equipment
• Clean, sanitise and tidy work areas regularly
• Distribute equipment throughout the hotel using trolleys
• Sort, stack and tidy shelves and kitchen areas.

Qualifications

You'll excel in this role if you have:

• Availability to work on the weekends and at night time
• Organised and methodical
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, pushing and pulling.
