Mō te tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for a Field Supervisor to lead the day-to-day paving and field-testing operation at our Christchurch based civil engineer laboratory. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee field-testing workflow, support and develop technicians, and make sure testing is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll be in amongst the work, balancing people leadership with practical testing support.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you’ll work closely with laboratory technicians, the administration booking team, paving teams, engineers, and the Aggregate Supervisor to keep work moving and customers well supported. This role is typically Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with occasional changes to start and finish times, including weekend or night work when required.

If you’re comfortable with field-based work, changing work patterns, and taking ownership of high standards, you’ll fit right in.
