Voith Group is seeking a Lathe Operator for the 2nd shift in West Monroe, LA, onsite. This role prepares paper mill rolls for the cover process, trims new covers, mounts bearings, and runs multiple lathes using dial indicators to ensure precise alignment, all while following the Voith Quality Manual and work instructions and cross training as needed. You should have experience with standard tools, and familiarity with dial indicators, micrometers, diameter tapes, and basic math; overhead crane experience is a plus. Physical requirements include lifting 60 pounds and the ability to work 12 hour shifts.
