ID Logistics is seeking a Lead MHE for the 4th shift in Charlotte NC onsite. The role operates industrial equipment with lifting devices to move products in distribution. Responsibilities include training and certifying LTOs, operating forklifts safely, acting as supervisor when Shift Supervisor is absent, inventorying materials, assisting planning and directing work, enforcing policies and GMPs, upholding safety. Schedule is Thursday through Saturday 6 PM to 6 AM and Wednesday 6 PM to 12 AM; pay is $22.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. Qualifications: HS diploma or GED, 1+ year related experience or training, ability to pass post-hire assessments, ability to obtain and maintain equipment certifications; PPE required. Tips: emphasize leadership, safety and certifications; show inventory and training success.


Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.

Responsibilities:
• Supports, trains and certifies newly hired LTOs
• Operates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient manner
• In the absence of the Shift Supervisor the Lead will act as Supervisor as needed
• Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed
• Assists Supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning and directing work
• Assist LTO's with daily issues
• Assist other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followed
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule: Thursday - Saturday (6P- 6A) / Wednesday (6P - 12A)

 

Hourly Rate:

$22.00 plus $2.00 Shift Differential

 

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies
