Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced structural modeller in our Brisbane office.

About the role 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Preparing structural models and detail design drawings for buildings and other structures.
• Working closely with clients, consultants, and the internal team, to develop models and documentation for structural engineering projects.
• Ensuring high quality design documentation and model accuracy. 
• Understanding interdisciplinary aspects of structural design. 
• Proficiency in Revit Structure is essential.
• Carrying out site inspections during project construction phase and inspecting structural engineering assets, maintenance and repair work.

Qualifications

About you 

We are seeking applications from experienced modellers who are a highly motivated, team orientated professionals who have excellent communication skills.

As an intermediate modeller you would require the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 5+ years relevant industry experience.
• Local experience will be highly regarded
• Proficiency in using Revit Structure. AutoCAD skills are advantageous.
• A sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety and legal regulations.
• Working knowledge of BIM concepts and an understanding of creating working models.
• Understand Australian Standards and Codes.
• Strong mathematical skills and high attention to detail.
• Professional qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or similar equivalent industry experience
• Being able to work collaboratively within the design team, and with external consultants
