We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Operator who takes pride in safe operations, mechanical skill, and supporting efficient plant performance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provides general oversight to plant operations as dictated by the Plant Manager.
  • May assist in training and coaching as directed by the Plant Manager.
  • Must be able to efficiently operate a forklift and loader. 
  • Adjusts calibration of machines, makes general repairs and cleans/installs molds and all parts of the machinery as needed to maintain safe operations.
  • Shovels, sweeps and rakes up debris from base of machinery. 
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with all personnel.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintains a strict adherence to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
  • Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
  • Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and general public.
  • Stands for long periods of time in hot weather or current conditions
  • May perform other related duties as required or directed. Including to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.

 

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and complete basic mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary. Regular and timely attendance is required.
  • Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, and criminal background check.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

 

 

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of related construction experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and skills are preferred.
  • Must achieve Tier III Manufacturing Operator status throughout employment
