RR Donnelley seeks a Legal Proofreader for the 3rd shift in Phoenix to ensure legal documents are accurate and properly cited using The Chicago Manual of Style, The Bluebook and the California Style Manual. On site, the role runs Monday through Friday from 10 PM to 6 AM, with 3 to 4 weeks of training 9 AM to 5 PM and a pay rate of $17.65 per hour plus a $3.00 shift differential. You will compare documents to originals, review cross references and defined terms, check tables of authorities, verify redlines, and ensure format and data accuracy while following policies. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; or a BA in English or Journalism or one year of legal experience, plus strong MS Office skills and exceptional attention to detail. progressions to a target rate or set increments over time.
