As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of guests at swimming pools and recreational water areas. Your responsibilities include monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to water-related emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor swimming pool activities and ensure guest safety at all times.

  • Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.

  • Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR when required.

  • Inspect the pool area, rescue equipment, and emergency supplies before each shift.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas.

  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and incidents promptly.

  • Conduct regular water safety checks and assist with pool opening and closing procedures.

  • Provide courteous and professional service to guests, answering questions and offering assistance.

  • Maintain accurate incident and daily operation records.

  • Follow all hotel health, safety, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or recreational facility preferred.

  • Valid UAE Lifeguard Certification from a recognized authority.

  • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

  • Good swimming and rescue skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.

  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospitality or luxury hotel experience.

  • Knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations.
