Northern Southland Transport is seeking reliable Class 5 drivers to operate 9 axle, 54 ton, four deck livestock transports across the South Island. This role blends serious responsibility with open road freedom, including sunrise starts, big landscapes, and weekly variation where the truck is your office and your home. Attitude matters most, along with a safety minded approach, compliance, and comfort handling livestock and customers. Training is provided, and home time can be arranged. WHAT YOU’LL BE DRIVING
9 axle/54 ton/ 4 deck livestock transporters
If you can handle a Class 5 vehicle and can back a trailer without creating a viral YouTube moment, we want to speak with you.
Experience with livestock is awesome – but attitude is what really matters.
If you’ve got the work ethic, we will teach you the rest.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Class 5 licence
• Reliable, switched-on and ready to work
• Good with customers and good with animals
• Proud of your work and your truck
• Strong focus on compliance and health & safety

Male or female, young gun or old hand. If you’re keen, capable and ready to go – there’s a seat waiting here for you.
And, no – you’re not away all the time, if getting home regularly is important to you then it is important to us as well, we’ll work with you to ensure that happens.
