Dexterra Group seeks a Lodge Manager for a Horizon North camp near Terrace BC, on a 20 on 10 off, 12 hour shifts. The Lodge Manager oversees daily lodge operations, upholds food quality, cleanliness, health and safety, and leads a high performing team with HR on hiring and performance. You will analyze revenue forecasts and budgets, create staff schedules, and drive profitability through strict budgeting. Requirements include 5+ years of hospitality management, post secondary education in business or hospitality, proficiency in MS Office and hospitality software, strong revenue analysis and forecasting, and a valid Class 5 license with a clean abstract. WHAT’S THE JOB?
Based in a world class Horizon North camp facility, the regular shift for this position is 20 days on and 10 days off, with 12-hour workdays. Transportation is provided to site from a designated pickup point.
The Lodge Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the Lodge. The successful candidate will bring their operational, people management and customer service expertise to the project to support the development of a dynamic high functioning team.
This position is safety sensitive and requires drug, alcohol, and fit to work testing as a condition of employment.
