Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Lead to manage and optimize our international logistics operations. This role will coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities including freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehouse management, and inventory control across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities:

International Logistics Management

  • Manage international shipments for semiconductor components and finished goods

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders for optimal routing and cost

  • Handle customs documentation, and import/export compliance

  • Oversee shipments between Netherlands, and other locations in Asia and US

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Manage multi-site warehouse operations

  • Implement inventory control systems and stock level optimization

  • Coordinate with ODM partners and logistics providers

  • Ensure proper handling of sensitive semiconductor materials

Vendor & Carrier Management

  • Negotiate rates and service levels with logistics providers

  • Manage relationships with customs brokers and freight forwarders

  • Evaluate and onboard new logistics partners as needed

  • Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per shipment, damage rates)

Process Optimization

  • Develop and implement logistics SOPs and best practices

  • Identify cost reduction opportunities in freight and warehousing

  • Streamline cross-border logistics workflows

  • Support internal logistics operations request in the company

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance teams

  • Support supply chain planning and demand forecasting

  • Provide logistics support for new product launches and office delivery ad-hoc task

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 5+ years in international logistics/supply chain management

  • Experience with semiconductor or electronics supply chain preferred

  • Proven track record managing Asia-Europe-US logistics corridors

  • Experience with customs regulations and international trade compliance

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in logistics management systems

  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures

  • Experience with freight cost analysis and optimization

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in Dutch and excellent communication skills in English

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to work across time zones (Asia-Europe-US)

  • Occasional travel to supplier/partner locations

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field

The position is an on-site/hybrid role, with most days of the week working from our headquarters office in Eindhoven (at the High Tech Campus).
