Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our sealing crew in Alexandra, Central Otago, on a full-time onsite basis. You’ll work in a small, supportive team on local sealing projects with real opportunities to develop your skills within a major contractor. Ideal candidates hold a minimum Class 1 licence (WTR endorsement a bonus) and have experience with machinery, a sharp eye for quality, a safety mindset, and strong teamwork; leadership experience is a plus. We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our sealing grew in Central Otago.

You will work in a tight‑knit team with a good attitude and a strong sense of humour, where no two jobs are the same. With a secure sealing season ahead, you will see what this amazing region has to offer while delivering asphalt and sealing works across Central Otago.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum Class 1 licence (WTR endorsement is a bonus but not essential)

  • Experience working on machinery such as tractors, rollers or light trucks (preferred)

  • A strong eye for quality

  • A genuine commitment to safety

  • Great communication skills

  • A solid work ethic, reliability and a focus on teamwork

  • Experience communicating with and leading others (an advantage, not essential)
