Pact Group seeks a Maintenance Manager for Pact Packaging in Takanini, Auckland, onsite. This hands-on role owns the reliability and safety of all equipment and site services, leads preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnoses faults and repairs to maximise uptime, and drives automation upgrades. You’ll manage spare parts and contractors, oversee cooling water, compressed air and gas systems, and participate in the on-call roster while upholding HACCP, GMP and WHSE standards. Requirements: 10+ years' maintenance experience, CMMS (MEX preferred), maintenance/diagnostics background; EWRB EAS-EST desirable. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of all manufacturing equipment and site services. You’ll lead preventative maintenance activities, carry out fault diagnosis and repair work, and respond quickly to unplanned equipment issues to support maximum factory uptime.
You’ll also play an active role in automation upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance across the site.
