You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how employees, communities and partner organisations access information and services through intuitive and impactful digital channels.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end digital products and services that improve customer outcomes and deliver business value.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting the strategic direction for product design, accessibility and digital experience across DCJ’s digital channels
  • Driving product discovery, user research, testing, prototyping and continuous improvement
  • Championing accessibility, customer-centred design and evidence-based decision-making across digital services
  • Collaborating with product managers, developers, service delivery teams and business stakeholders
  • Developing high-performing specialists and emerging leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusion and product excellence.

 

You'll join a talented and purpose-driven Digital Experience team within the Communications Branch of Corporate Services. The team plays a critical role in delivering reliable, accessible and future-focused digital services that support employees, communities and partner organisations across New South Wales.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

We're seeking a strategic and collaborative digital leader with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in complex and fast-paced environments.

 

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary digital, product design or customer experience teams
  • Strong expertise in human-centred design, user experience and accessibility, including WCAG standards
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action and deliver measurable results
  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands, optimise team performance and deliver outcomes in complex environments
  • Experience establishing effective ways of working, governance and delivery practices that improve team effectiveness and accountability
  • Experience using customer insights, research and analytics to drive decision-making and service improvements
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
  • A commitment to delivering accessible, inclusive and customer-focused digital services
