Job Description

We are seeking a Consulting Manager to join our rapidly expanding New Zealand practice. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing multiple streams across a variety of client engagements. You will have the opportunity to work with iconic New Zealand clients across both the corporate and public sector. You will have demonstrated experience in engaging with clients on large, transformation engagements, including operating excellence reviews, performance improvement initiatives, or major infrastructure projects. 

You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders from across the business, gaining strong mentorship and contributing to the growth of the New Zealand team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • collaborate with our team and clients to develop and deliver strategic reviews and operational performance reviews across a range of industries
  • project management of diverse engagements
  • developing reports, presentations
  • mentor junior staff, with an emphasis on knowledge sharing
  • direct experience leading qualitative analysis to inform decision-making
  • identify issues and prepare recommendations for our clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years consulting experience 
  • A bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related discipline
  • Ability to solve unstructured or ambiguous problems through application of logical and systematic problem-solving techniques
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Direct experience leading qualitative analysis to inform decision-making 
  • Executive-level communication skills including the ability to synthesise complex information in both oral and written formats to inform fast decision making by senior business leaders
  • Leadership and coaching skills, with experience managing teams and engagements
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse client and internal stakeholders
  • You must hold New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
