Manager, Mobile Device Management, Deloitte Global Technology
DeloitteDeloitte is hiring for a Manager, Mobile Device Management in its Global Technology group, based in Toronto with a hybrid work setup. The role carries a clear focus on Microsoft Intune and related technologies to manage mobile devices and endpoints across a broad enterprise landscape. The reference code for this opportunity is 135444, and the position may be available in several Canadian cities including Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa and Vancouver. This is a strong fit for someone who commands deep Intune expertise and enjoys guiding security-minded mobility programs in a global professional services environment.
The role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and user experience. You’ll design, build and implement mobile device management solutions that align with Deloitte’s goals and minimize disruption to users. Expect to work hands-on with Intune administration, device enrollment and configuration, and policy enforcement, while researching new features and driving improvements that keep the workplace modern and secure. You’ll balance technical delivery with governance, ensuring that service delivery is repeatable, compliant, and scalable across geographies, teams, and clients.
Shaping the mobile backbone of a global firm
Your day-to-day will revolve around operating and enhancing Microsoft Intune environments, including device enrollment workflows, application management, and security policy enforcement. You’ll design and manage access controls within Intune, applying least-privilege principles to administrative roles and permissions. Streamlining secure provisioning will be central, with Zero-Touch Enrollment and Automated Device Enrollment processes playing a key role in speed and security. In parallel, you’ll shore up the mobile security posture by overseeing Mobile Threat Defense tools like Zimperium and Microsoft Defender, and by handling certifications services such as SCEP and NDES to enable secure device connectivity.
Specialist projects will include supporting a variety of endpoint technologies beyond standard devices, kiosks, rugged devices, Microsoft Teams Rooms, HoloLens, Meta Quest, Zoom Rooms and other specialized endpoints. You’ll configure and maintain compliance policies, configuration profiles, and mobile app management configurations to ensure consistent security and operations. Driving modern workplace capabilities, Autopilot, Cloud Management Gateway, O365 deployment and patch management, will be part of the routine, as will building and upholding governance for Intune services with clear accountability. You’ll lead enrollment and deployment workflows, troubleshoot MDM issues in ServiceNow, and provide end-user support when needed. Collaboration is essential: you’ll work across infrastructure, security, desktop, and support teams to deliver solutions, while strengthening documentation and process maturity to support repeatable, controlled operations. Finally, you’ll help develop your team by mentoring new staff and promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability, all while upholding firm policies and leadership standards and maintaining 24x7 on-call readiness.

Advice for applicants
Lead your resume with a concise snapshot of your Intune and mobile device management leadership, then back it up with evidence from your 5–9 years in IT. Highlight a project where you designed RBAC within Intune, enabled Zero-Touch Enrollment, implemented MTD protection, and managed certificate services, showing the full lifecycle from policy to deployment.
During interviews, be ready to discuss cross-functional collaboration with infrastructure, security, desktop and support teams, and to illustrate how you maintain governance and on-call readiness. Have concrete examples that demonstrate how you built repeatable, compliant processes and how you’ve driven security improvements across geographies.
When you pose questions, ask about how Intune governance is aligned across regions and how the organization measures change-controlled operations in this role. A smart question could be about the balance between centralized policy design and local adaptation, and how the team handles onboarding and ongoing training for new staff.
