Manager – Project Management

Job Overview
The Project Management Manager will lead the planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of complex defense projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and operational objectives.
The role is responsible for overseeing project portfolios, managing resources, budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered successfully within defined scope.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex defense projects and programs in alignment with approved objectives, scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define, develop, and implement project strategies aligned with organizational objectives and long-term business goals.
  • Ensure project portfolios are aligned with strategic priorities, operational requirements, and defense sector objectives.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of project reporting in line with organizational requirements and security standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and alignment of expectations.
  • Manage supplier and contractor performance, ensuring delivery commitments, quality standards, and contractual obligations are achieved.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of project documentation, reports, and deliverables.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project managers and project teams.
  • Review project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure effective delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or program delivery roles.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects or programs within the defense, aerospace, engineering, or technology sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery best practices.
  • Excellent understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and performance monitoring.
  • Advanced reporting, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
