adidas is looking for a Manager - Project Management to join its Stockport Head Office, a hub that features 18 showrooms, a dedicated Conference Centre and a staff Wellness Hub. The campus also boasts a modern gym with Peloton bikes, an indoor astroturf pitch, a padel court, chat boxes and creative spaces. The Stockport team numbers over 350 employees across Brand Marketing, Commercial and Business Support functions. This is a role for someone who loves turning ambitious ideas into practical plans, steering cross-functional teams, and keeping senior stakeholders aligned as projects move forward on a global stage.

The role sits at the heart of North Europe’s important initiatives, translating big goals into clear programmes and keeping teams focused on what needs to be done. You’ll manage a portfolio of high‑profile projects, bringing order to complexity and giving decision makers the clarity they need to act. Success means delivering on commitments, spotting risks early, and continuously finding smarter, simpler ways to work.

A day in the life here commonly involves taking ownership of priority projects from definition through delivery, turning strategic aims into concrete plans with milestones and measurable outcomes. You’ll rally the right people from Sales, Brand, Finance, Business Development, Insights and other functions to build momentum and shared accountability. Leaders will rely on concise, decision-ready updates about progress, dependencies, risks and choices, with clear next steps. You’ll identify delivery challenges early, navigate ambiguity and help teams resolve issues before they affect results. And you’ll look for opportunities to streamline how projects run, using straightforward ways of working and AI-enabled tools to cut admin and strengthen decision-making.

Advice for applicants

Lead with proof of your ability to run complex projects from start to finish, especially where you’ve turned broad priorities into concrete, measurable delivery plans. Put a strong example of this at the top of your resume to catch a recruiter’s eye.

In interviews, highlight how you create structure, manage risks and dependencies, and keep several workstreams moving without adding unnecessary process. Be ready to discuss a time you used AI or digital tools to simplify delivery or improve decision quality.

prepare a concise, decision-ready update you would share with senior leaders, including progress, risks and the next steps. Practice explaining how you determine what to escalate and what to resolve at your level.

When you’re asked to ask a question, consider querying how the team balances speed with risk across a portfolio of high‑profile projects and what cadence of updates they expect for stakeholders among Sales, Brand, Finance and Insights.
