Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Supporting the Director and Senior Managers Sales Clubs/Feds in ensuring a sustainable and profitable partner portfolio and its net sales growth in the respective clusters/regions through the implementation of adidas AG’s brand and sales strategy regarding product categories and defined consumers/target groups.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Understanding and applying the adidas strategy within the assigned customer group.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager Sales Clubs/Feds in sales target planning, potential analysis, increasing sell-through, and ensuring healthy market share growth.
  • Building professional and personal relationships with key decision-makers and buyers of assigned customers to establish adidas as the "preferred supplier."
  • Implementing adidas brand concepts with a customer-centric approach and ensuring a market-leading brand presentation at POS & Digital in close coordination with Wholesale Activation, Digital Partner Commerce, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Developing and managing business relationships to drive growth.
  • Working with data and numbers by effectively utilizing customer-specific sell-out, sell-in figures, and digital KPIs.
  • Organizing and efficiently managing the sell-in process, considering adidas sell-in tools.
  • Efficiently handling daily business operations (e.g., preparing and following up on customer meetings, organizing meetings, and creating presentations).
  • Continuously managing order books, ensuring reliable and cost-efficient procurement & delivery in collaboration with Customer Service.
  • Regularly preparing key metrics such as sell-in and sell-out figures and deriving and developing measures for improvement.
  • Supporting strategic internal or external meetings and projects (development, execution, monitoring).
  • Continuously learning and developing personal skills through adidas’ Learning & Development opportunities.

  • Internal: Sales Central Europe, Wholesale Activation, Go-To-Market (Range), Digital Partner Commerce, Customer Service, Sales Development
  • External: Buyers, Purchasing Managers, Marketing Managers, Planners, Analysts of respective customers

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in Business Administration / Sports Economics with a focus on Marketing/Sales
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Industry experience: preferably in the sports industry, apparel, footwear, fashion, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)
