AD Ports Group seeks a Manager: Stakeholder Management to lead EC&FZ strategic initiatives, cultivate stakeholder relationships, and ensure alignment with the organization’s goals, on-site in Abu Dhabi. The role also covers people management, budgeting, risk assessment, and collaboration with marketing, legal and operations to secure mutually beneficial partnerships. Ideal candidate: bachelor’s in business, PR or communications with master’s preferred; 8 to 10 years in stakeholder management; experience with government or regulators; strong English, Arabic a plus. Lead the development and execution of EC&FZ strategic initiatives and maintain effective relationship with key stakeholders aiming to answer their needs, meet expectations and represent the organization's interests ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with organizational overall goals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify key internal and external stakeholders, analyze interests and align expectations with EC&FZ cluster strategy.

  • Represent EC&FZ at regulatory meetings, and stakeholder conferences to advocate for key priorities and strengthen partnerships.

  • Review, analyze, and incorporate stakeholder feedback into organizational strategies to improve alignment and outcomes.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for major stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed effectively.

  • Develop, direct effective execution, and conduct regular evaluation of stakeholder programs and initiatives.

  • Maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, and participate in meetings, events, and forums to foster engagement and gather feedback.

  • Deliver regular reports to senior management on the cluster’s engagement activities, performance and recommendation plans.

  • Lead cross-functional team to streamline processes and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.

 

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Plan the operating needs of the department and obtain requisite approvals.

  • Manage the team under the Stakeholder Management by evaluating the performance of team members, providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs and coaching them to ensure ongoing development capability.

  • Conduct training for the department team on various aspects on which the role-holder has subject matter expertise.

 

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Participate in developing and implementing stakeholder management strategies in line with the EC&FZ cluster long-term goals and objectives.

  • Develop stakeholder mapping and management plan to ensure proactive communication and engagement.

  • Ensure that stakeholder management strategies are aligned with overall business objectives, fostering mutually beneficial relationships that drive EC&FZ growth.

  • Lead the strategic assessment of potential risks related to stakeholder relationships and develop robust mitigation plans to safeguard organizational interests.

  • Prepare the department budgets and business strategies in accordance with the ECFZ strategy to ensure the development of an integrated approach.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, legal, and operations, to ensure partnerships align with EC&FZ goals.

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Relations, Communications, or related field. Master's degree is a plus 

Language Skills:

  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage

Years of Experience:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role

Nature of Experience:

  • Experience in stakeholder management, relationship management, or a related field, experience leading or supervising teams is preferred.

  • Experience working with government entities, regulatory bodies, and/or large corporate organizations.

  • Good understanding of stakeholder engagement strategies and relationship management best practices.

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.
